Public Submissions

LinkCloud networks can be configured to accept public submissions with a single toggle from the network “Submissions” Page.

Please note you can only access the submissions page by creating a network and managing that network.

When Public Submissions are toggled on for a Network, the platform will create a public facing form which allows anyone on the internet to submit content which can be featured in the network feed or on the public bulletin board. Regardless of whether or not they have a LinkCloud account.

Moderation workflow

As content is submitted from the public form, it will arrive in your moderation workflow inside the Submissions Page. The moderation workflow allows you to view submissions organized by Pending, Approved, Rejected, and All.

When managing a network you can visit the submissions page to toggle public submissions and manage your moderation workflow

To approve a submission you click the “Create Card” button which will open the feature card dialog and allow you to edit or modify the card details before publishing.
To reject a submission you can type a reason for the rejection (optional) and then click the reject button.
The person who submitted the post will receive an email confirming their submission and then letting them know about your decision when you make it.
